The Chin Research Centre was established through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the Institute of Chin Affairs Inc. and Mizoram University on April 18, 2022. The signing took place at the Mizoram University campus in Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram State in India.<\/p>\n

On October 12, 2022, the Myanmar Research Fellowship program was initiated under this Centre, with the support of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) in Canada. Currently, five scholars from Myanmar are undergoing research training with the support of the ICA program staff in Aizawl.<\/p>\n
